| Elmer (Just Boy) by AC Fera, Doc Winner (0300-) 1st Appearance May 6, 1916 - Elmer was a boy-strip creation of AC Fera in 1916. Although it was a mildly humorous, it was also rarely imaginative. In the days when Skippy and Perry Winkle roamed the sunday pages, Elmer was somewhat weak competition . Still, the strip lasted a long time, well into the 1940's. The market for Elmer pages is a bit thin. They can be obtained a quite economical prices. | ||||
